New Skincare Goodies

 

After reading Caroline's post last week, I knew I had to get my hands on this Caudalie VinoPerfect Enzymatic Peel Mask. As someone who suffers from acne scarring, I have realized that it is becoming more prominent on the sides of my face more than usual (or maybe I'm just super paranoid). Either way, I've been noticing it and have been trying to find a product to help reduce it. Bring in this mask! I am super excited to give this a try, although I am a teeny bit nervous to how my skin will react.

Sephora Haul

Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE PUR COUTURE Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain 

I was loving my YSL lipstick, so I thought it was about time to check out their line of lipglosses. It was really hard to settle on one considering they have SO many shades, but I settled on Coril Fauve. So far, so good. Expect a full review soon!

NARS The NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette

There is something about an eyeshadow palette that pulls me in. And when I saw this in-store, I couldn’t walk away…a few swatches later and I knew I had to have it. I am very excited to see what I can come up with using this palette!

Murad Radiant Skin Renewal Kit

I am so, so, excited to try this set from Murad! I have always struggled with dark spots on the sides of my face from who knows what and I have been on the hunt to try to find something, anything that will lighten them to a point where I feel I no longer need to use foundation. I did some research and read up on a ton of reviews and this seemed like my best pick. I’m usually one to think if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but I think its about time I switch up some things in my skincare routine if I want to see some changes!

Drugstore Haul

I really can't step into a store without picking up a few random things and this drugstore haul is no exception!

I picked up the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Highligher pen that I've been wanting for some time now, along with a few bold colored Revlon lipsticks and some Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments! I'm super excited to share these things with you and have a couple reviews coming your way soon :)

Fall Haul

Now that fall is officially here, I decided I needed to up my autumn game with a few new goodies!

First, I had to restock my favorite Origins Never A Dull Moment Cleanser. If you saw my post on the Origins Checks and Balances Facewash you would know that I wasn't such a fan, but this Never A Dull moment cleanser is my go-to.

Up next are some fall inspired products that I just had to get my hands on. These included the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette, Yves Saint Laurent lipstick that I have been wanting forever & finally a Chanel lipgloss I thought looked too pretty to pass up!

Recent Buys

So the past few weeks have been spent lightening up my wallet by making some impulse buys! Oops, that's life, ain't it? No...just me? Okay then...on we go!

I've always been self-conscious of my skin, especially my face. I suffer from redness, but have never been diagnosed with rosacea. Its not something that I let control my life but 90% of the time I feel better with makeup on, covering up my redness. I've been trying to find a solution and that's where Clinique's Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser (Macy's, $22.50) comes into play. As a product that helps to calm redness, I have high hopes for this!

I received the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum (Sephora, $48.50) in a Glossybox a few months ago and was very impressed with the way it made my skin feel that I had to go out and buy the full size. Its no secret that vitamin C helps the skin look youthful and this was just something I loved applying and it smells great too!

As someone whose dealt with a fluctuating weight my whole life, I'm sad to admit that I struggle with stretch marks! But hey, that is life. I read great reviews about Mustela Stretch Mark Cream (Sephora, $41.00) so I wanted to give it a shot. It's generally targeted to woman who are pregnant but it works for all the same reasons.

As I've just admitted, I've had a problem with my weight and again mother nature has graced me with that stubbornly woman problem of cellulite. Oy. Now I know that a product cannot permantely fix this, only exercise and a clean diet will...what a shame! But in the meantime, I thought why not give my skin a little boost with Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control (Sephora, $68.00) as I journey into the clean eating world...that's a whole different story!

After running out of my beloved Origins Never A Dull Moment Cleanser, I opted for the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash (Macy's $21.00). I've always been a lover of Origins products so I'm not all that surprised that I went with this one, again its something I've read great reviews on so I'm excited to try this out.
